Mrs Avril McCusker

Biography

Avril teaches singing, Kodaly musicianship and music in Netherlee Primary School in Glasgow, has a successful private teaching practice in Paisley and is a Kodaly musicianship educator and choir director with the National Youth Choir of Scotland Renfrewshire Choir and works with the children of Paisley Abbey Choir. Avril has previously worked with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Junior Chorus, Hucheson’s Grammar School, Craigholme School and St. Aloysius College in Glasgow.

Last year she was involved with the Youth Music Initiative in Glasgow through the National Youth Choir of Scotland. Avril is also Musical Director of the Johnstone Phoenix Theatre Group.
