Professional session singer and top pop vocal coach Kim Chandler’s “Funky ‘n Fun” CD series is now available from Voicesource Limited.

Kim Chandler, creator of the innovative and popular selling Funky n Fun Vocal Exercise CD series, says:

“I was looking for something to practice with that I personally found motivating, interesting, challenging and presented in a style that I liked and related to as a pop singer. I couldn’t find anything that really fitted the bill for me, so I decided to do something myself. These CD’s are the result of that intention and feature the sorts of exercises that I’ve found help develop breath control, good tone production, pitch accuracy, articulation, range extension, flexibility, improvisation etc. My students love it – I hope you will too!”

CDs 1 and 2 features 40 minutes of breathing, tone, pitching, range, articulation and flexibility exercises all backed by funky pop R&B tracks. CD 3, Challenging Patterns, is designed for advanced singers who wish to become more musically educated about the vocabulary of the music they sing.

About the Author

Kim Chandler is a highly qualified and experienced pop vocal coach and is the Academic Head of the UKs leading pop vocal college VOCALTECH in West London. Shes been a featured vocal coach for ITVs Rock Around The Block, BBCs Trading Places and Life’s Too Short, MTV, Radio 1 and BBC5 live and magazines such as Bliss, Inside Out, The Singer and The Music Teacher. Kim has been an invited speaker at international vocal conferences held at the Royal Academy of Music in London and has a Masters degree in performance from the London College of Music and Media.
