Deirdre Trundle’s manual on adolescent voice training is now available from Voicesource.
‘Changing Voices: An Approach to Adolescent Voice Training’ contains practical information on training boys’ and girls’ voices through puberty. This concise manual is written for music teachers, drama teachers, singing and voice teachers and choral directors who are working with younger voices. The simple explanations, exercises and advice given in this manual make it a valuable resource.
Alongside the manual, Voicesource Publishing have released two new training products in the Changing Voices series. ‘Changing Voices: Vocal Exercises for Adolescent Voices’ and ‘Changing Voices: Vocal Exercises for Adult Voices’ are audio CDs that contain easy to follow accompaniments for warming-up the voice. Together the CDs are designed to work with all voice types and all levels of experience. The exercises will help to improve vocal technique, helping you connect voice and breath, develop range without strain, control dynamics, improve resonance across the range, and balance vowels.
